An Indian wedding painting capturing a group of 16 people must be a beautiful and meaningful piece, preserving special moments and relationships. I worked to convey the joy and connection shared among the individuals on this special day. The two seagulls flying symbolizes their life starting together.

It was started at the Los Angeles Point Vicente Interpretive Center and finished in my Temecula art studio many careful hours later mostly through a magnifying glass. Painting video posted below.

16 people in one Indian / American oil on canvas wedding painting 30" x 40" x 1.5" gallery wrapped (painted on all sides. No frame needed).

LA Wedding Painting with Indian Dresses

Posted by Cara and Faiz on Jan 17th 2024

We are beyond impressed with this painting. We cannot believe the amount of detail that Jess captured in the painting. Fazila (girl on far right) has a clearly translucent dupatta (shawl), the Indian dresses are flawless, honestly all of the dresses are flawless... it's just amazing. The seagulls are such a nice touch and we love the symbolism. The palm trees and lighthouse are so detailed, and it really looks like Jess took his time. We know it was a challenging project, and we really appreciate all of the effort.
