I was fortunate to live in NYC where I could go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and sit and draw from the Great Master’s paintings and statues. Groups of people would crowd around me to watch me draw. I was a shy kid so I pretended not to see them. My brother called me the drawing boy exhibit. 

The photo is me in 2018 pretending to draw the mountains around the Hoover Dam.  That was a fun trip!
