I had a fun, crazy stint as a series regular on ABC TV’S “Dating in the Dark” in summers of 2009 and 2010. The show format was that couples would meet in a pitch, black room and feel each other’s faces. Another sketch artist and I would then make a sketch from their descriptions. I would draw from the men’s descriptions and the other artist would draw from the women’s. The next week we would switch.  We artists were on episodes of the show not in the background.

They would put a bag over my head to walk me through the set so I couldn’t peek. I never saw the people I had to draw until the when the show aired. It surprised me how I was able to get within 80 percent of how they actually looked!
